📊 JULY – AUGUST RESULTS OF KAS & BTC Scalping Bot

Time to share an update on the bot’s demo portfolio. July was extremely slow and low-volatility, as was the first half of August. It was incredibly difficult to remain patient and simply watch as absolutely nothing happened.
However, the market finally started moving in the second half of August following the announcement of the US Treasury’s buyback of long-dated bonds. 🚀

🟢 KASPA

Compared with the May–June period, when KASPA traded within a range of 0.026–0.041, the range was narrower this time: 0.025–0.032.
This coin is really testing my patience! While the price is stuck at levels that make it look as though the project is dead, in reality, it is more alive than ever, actively developing, and there is plenty to talk about. But that deserves a separate post.
In short: I still believe in it. 💚

Closed-trade results:
July: +2.63 USDT
August: +3.86 USDT

I reduced the order size to the minimum and continue adding small amounts to the demo deposit. As soon as the balance is large enough to withstand a drawdown down to 0.019, I will increase the order size.

🟠 BITCOIN

Until mid-August, Bitcoin was practically stuck in the $57K–$67K range. Then, within just a few days, it climbed from $62K to nearly $80K, breaking up the extremely low-volatility summer. 📈

With Kaspa, I underestimated the risks and had to increase the number of orders. With Bitcoin, however, everything currently suggests that I overestimated the risks. I initially divided the deposit into 215 parts, but I never used more than 132 of them. The remaining 300 USDT are still untouched and earning 12% APY in staking on MEXC.

Closed-trade results:
July: +3.95 USDT
August: +5.40 USDT

The number of trades was below average. With the bot’s default settings, the average number of trades per month over the entire trading period has been 448.
