Wrong in the Best Way - Markets Defy Bearish Expectations
It seems this is one of those rare cases when it actually feels good to be wrong. 🙂
In my previous post, I wrote that crypto could react negatively in the short term to the Fed’s rate decision and the failed vote on the CLARITY Act. In reality, the exact opposite happened.
Apparently, the markets had already priced in the rate hike, while the Fed’s willingness to continue pursuing an independent policy, keep the situation under control, and avoid giving in to Trump’s influence was received positively.
After the CLARITY Act vote failed, the heads of the SEC and CFTC announced that they were ready to work together on their own set of rules for regulating the US crypto market - rules that could replace the CLARITY Act if it ultimately fails completely.
In my view, that might even be a better outcome, since it currently looks like such an approach would require fewer compromises in favor of the banking lobby.
Whether that is actually the case remains to be seen. For now, however, Bitcoin and altcoins have reacted very positively.
Today, BTC reached $86K, while Kaspa followed, climbing as high as $0.043 and giving users of @KAS_USDT_BOT some solid volatility - along with their previously frozen orders being executed. 🚀
I used the rally to unfreeze part of my deposit. My current order-size settings are smaller than the orders being executed, since I still can’t rule out one final dip - a level from which it would be nice to start another three-year growth cycle. 📈
