API Keys for KAS/USDT Bot - What They Are and Why It's Safe

I see lots of you are in confusion after you press “Start” at @KAS_USDT_bot and get a message with API-keys creation instruction.

As the bot is working with your MEXC-exchange account , it needs to connect to it somehow. It uses API-keys for this connection. The bot can not and will not work and respond to your commands other than /start and /registration until you connect it to your account and your trial or paid subscription is activated.

Is it safe and why? - Yes it is! During the creation process at your MEXC app, you check the following boxes at the "Spot" section of the settings (and do not check anything else):

  • View account details;
  • View order details;
  • Trade.

and add KAS/USDT pair for trading. The API-keys created will not allow do anything except mentioned above. No withdrawals, transfers or purchasing anything else than Kaspa - it's not allowed by the MEXC .
