Kaspa July News Roundup: Bitcoin Maxis Converting, Smart Contracts Coming
KASPA NEWS FOR JULY
There’s so much news this month that I’ll start with my own takeaways, and then, for those who are interested, you can read all the details below. Honestly, there weren’t any explosive events over the past month, but there were a ton of smaller developments. The sheer number of them is encouraging and really gives the sense that a breakthrough for Kaspa is getting closer. The most important thing is that the ecosystem is constantly and rapidly evolving - and it’s not just artificial activity for the sake of appearances. Real usage of the Kaspa ecosystem is growing. Tier-1 exchanges are clearly watching and waiting and the only question is how long they’ll keep accumulating and teasing the public. All eyes are on August 31, when smart contracts are set to launch on KAS.
After seeing Bitcoin’s correction due to Trump's tariffs, and a similar dip in Kaspa, I decided to open a futures position @ 0.08609. My initial plan is to close it closer to the end of August, riding the rumors about Smart Contracts. I’m not sure this is the absolute bottom, but at these KAS levels, I’m comfortable setting my trap orders. Plus I use only x2 leverage to reduce risk of liquidation. If it drops lower, I’ll buy more and average down.
