Kasplex L2 Smart Contracts Are Live — Market Reaction and What's Next
This post was initially supposed to be about the launch of Kasplex’s L2 Smart Contracts.
And yes - that happened yesterday ✅. How did it impact the price? Kaspa showed a slight uptick 📈 while most coins, including BTC, were moving down. No hype, no explosion though. Remember: this is an L2 project - centralized, dependent on Kasplex, and closed‑source. Still, it’s a massive step forward for Kaspa’s ecosystem in terms of utility and versatility. As for L1 contracts from Igra — they’re still in development, but their time will come.
Now about my futures position.
One idea - hold until the upcoming media event (planned for tomorrow) and exit there. Let’s see if Kaspa manages to set a world record for daily transactions on a PoW chain ⚡️. Another idea: I’m considering opening an additional position around 0.071-0.072 if that level holds. Once the profit from this new trade offsets the loss from my original one (so that the combined net result = 0), I’ll close both positions and instantly open a fresh one - but only with the initial size, lowering overall risk.
My conclusion:
futures trading should not be stretched out for months. I entered too early and held too long. Should’ve been more flexible, closed calmly at 0.1 when I had the chance, instead of clinging to the initial idea and missing the positive reality.
However its also about the Demo Bot 🤖.
It moved without warning. Yesterday I made some small changes in the Telegram integration, and honestly - I made a mistake that caused the old bot name to become unavailable. The good news: just like with the main bot, the demo trading process (virtual as it is) is fully independent and wasn’t affected at all. All registered users’ data is safe.
The downside: the old bot name is gone. Despite my attempts to restore it, it won’t be available anytime soon. Easier and faster to start fresh.
