Another performance report for @KAS_USDT_BOT
November was great in terms of volatility, both for Kaspa and for Bitcoin. Just as I wanted, I didn’t change any settings at all - fully passive mode. The bot did everything on its own. I only slightly increased the order size when I topped up the demo deposit according to the strategy.
Kaspa dropped dramatically to 0.037, then bounced back against the market, which made me really happy. All these moves came with solid volatility, which resulted in 1,793 trades versus the average ~1,400 per month. I slightly increased the order size twice, since I had time to top up the deposit a bit while BTC was above 100K.
Bitcoin spent most of November below 100K and even dipped to 80K. What everyone was afraid of happened: after a bad October, November turned out to be even deeper in the red. In terms of volatility, the bot showed a record number of trades in BTC (655 in November) since March, when I added Bitcoin.
Briefly: current hopes for growth are based on the idea that QT in the US is essentially over, markets are “changing shoes” again and are now expecting the Fed to start cutting rates soon, and Trump is loudly announcing that Powell doesn’t have much time left as the head of the Fed. On the other side of the scale, there are light rumors that market whales want to drag Michael Saylor and his Strategy into margin calls. I suspect that if that really happens, it will mark a proper crypto winter lasting 1.5-2 years with BTC in the 30-40K range.🥲
I expect the first half of December to be volatile; after around December 17-20 and up to mid-January, I think it’ll be very quiet.
This month I made the following top-ups:
November 5: $25 + $10 to BTC and KAS
November 10: $25 + $10 to BTC and KAS
For the remaining three weeks of November I didn’t add any funds. When and if BTC goes back above 100K, I’ll catch up and transfer everything for the missed periods.
My current settings:
KAS: Order - 2.1 USDT, ⬆️ 0.6, ⬇️ 0.9
BTC: Order - 4.1 USDC, ⬆️ 0.3, ⬇️ 1.0
For the second month in a row I’ve been actively testing alternative settings with @KAS_DEMO_BOT, and I may soon change my current ones - I have a feeling I’ve found more profitable options.
